White Digital Media Angry Birds Online - Thanks Google

Angry Birds finally makes its way to the web - the next step toward its worldwide gaming empire
 Angry Birds on Google Chrome

Angry Birds is quite simply the best waste of time ever created. For those of you who do not know what the popular game is, then I suggest you keep it that way if you’d like to have a productive day ever again. The game’s popularity exploded off of the iPhone roughly a year and a half ago and has since made its way to other platforms, including Android, collecting tens of millions of downloads. There has never been a web-based version – until now.
On May 12ththe Finnish game studio and creators of Angry Birds, Rovio, announced that an online version of the game is now available on the Google Chrome Web Store. The beta version includes sixty three levels from the original game, along with seven levels created specifically for Chrome. More levels are reportedly in the works. Until then, these seventy should keep you plenty distracted.

So what is it?
Angry Birds is a “point and shoot” style game. It’s very simple and extremely entertaining. The concept of the game is to propel “Angry Birds” into various objects. The more damage you cause, the angrier the birds get and the more points you rack up. Seems easy enough, yeah? Sure, it’s easy to play. The problem is putting it down.
Rovio is reportedly working on a Facebook version which will complete the game’s dominance of mobile and web-based games. The company is also working toward releasing versions for popular gaming consoles PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii which will launch these Angry Birds into a full-fledged, worldwide gaming empire.
